Community Partnership at Work: Volunteer Canada
In 2005 The Home Depot, in partnership with Volunteer Canada, established the Corporate Council on Volunteering, the largest corporate volunteerism initiative in Canada. Over the past two years, the Council has expanded to include 23 executives representing a wide range of industry sectors.

The Council drives the Corporate Challenge on Volunteering, which challenges businesses of all sizes to encourage employees to volunteer time in a collaborative effort in the communities where they work and live.
