Schneider Electric Company has discovered a material non-conformance with respect to the hardware used in certain Square D brand of 100Amp through 125Amp QO Loadcentres with UL/CSA markings manufactured between December 2, 2011 and January 3, 2012 inclusive with date codes between 11485 and 12012 only, and has initiated a voluntary product recall.

Home Depot Canada has been informed by our vendor, Homelite Consumer Products, of a possible safety issue with the 15" Surface Cleaner attachment. The nozzle on the units can detach from the spray bar and be ejected from the product housing, posing a laceration hazard.

Philips Lighting is voluntarily recalling certain Philips Energy Saver (also known as Marathon or Marathon Classic) Compact Fluorescent Dimmable Reflector lamps because the glue which attaches the glass outer envelope or globe (reflector) to the body of the lamp can fail, allowing the glass outer envelope to fall and strike persons and objects below, posing a possible laceration hazard to consumers.

The Home Depot Canada has been informed by our vendor, Honeywell, of a possible safety issue with the above mentioned product. The issue is associated with the products' relay which may not function properly and may cause the unit to overheat.

We have been informed by Health Canada that the above mentioned product does not meet the current regulatory requirements with regards to flammability. As such, Home Depot Canada is executing a stop sale and product recall on the above mentioned article.
