The Home Depot Canada Foundation is proud to support Volunteer Canada's efforts in re-launching The Canadian Code for Volunteer Involvement
On April 16th, Volunteer Canada re-launched, The Canadian Code for Volunteer Involvement in celebration of National Volunteer Week. The Code is one of Volunteer Canada's seminal resources and is integrated in all of their capacity building work within the voluntary sector. It provides a framework of organizational standards for professional practices in a volunteer program, and is built on a basis of organizational values and guiding principles facilitated through discussion with senior staff and boards of directors.
