Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada
Since 2009, The Home Depot Canada Foundation has been proud to support Boys and Girls Clubs across Canada. In 2013, The Home Depot Canada Foundation will work with local Boys and Girls Clubs to ensure young people have every opportunity to achieve their best potential, which includes having access to safe housing, programs and a comprehensive support system so they can grow up to be healthy, successful and active participants in society.
Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness
The Home Depot Canada Foundation is pleased to partner with The Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness (CAEH), an organization that is creating a national movement to end homelessness in Canada by working with communities to establish 10-year plans. In collaboration, the Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness and The Home Depot Canada Foundation will raise awareness of homelessness and seek out ways to end youth homelessness in Canada.
Habitat for Humanity Canada
Since 1996, The Home Depot has been the largest supporter of Habitat for Humanity in Canada and currently donates over $6 million in funding and product as well as thousands of volunteer hours each year to affordable housing projects. Throughout 2012, The Home Depot supported Habitat for Humanity projects across Canada, focusing on the creation of sustainable, energy-efficient homes that provide lasting benefits to families in need.
Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association
The Home Depot Canada Foundation is excited to support the Ontario Non-Profit Housing Association's 2013 Housing Open Doors campaign, a travelling exhibit designed to generate awareness about the affordable housing crisis in Ontario and change the perception of affordable housing across Ontario.
Ottawa Community Housing Foundation for Healthy Communities
The Home Depot Canada Foundation is proud to support Ottawa Community Housing Foundation for Healthy Communities, an organization that helps alleviate the effects of poverty, by empowering and inspiring low-income housing tenants through educational and leadership opportunities.
