How to Apply

The Home Depot Canada Foundation is committed to supporting Canadian charitable organizations and other tax exempt entities dedicated to developing environmentally sustainable homes and communities through two grant programs:

1.
Affordable Housing Grants - for affordable housing projects that incorporate sustainable (energy efficient) building techniques and/or materials.
Maximum Grant: $25,000
Application Deadline: August 20, 2010

Before submitting an application, please review the Affordable Housing Grants Application Guide (PDF).

If you meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the Application Guide, we invite you to complete an Affordable Housing Grant Application Form (MS Word).

Reminder: the submission deadline is August 20, 2010.

2.
Community Grants - for small-scale community space or affordable housing projects that include sustainable building techniques and/or materials; also, beautification and conservation projects/ programs.
Maximum Grant: $5,000
Application Deadline: N/A
