Light weight, easy to handle got into tight spots easily enough. Follow instructions, use finist sandpaper needed, little pressure. I'm regularly rubbing the felt surface with duct tape to collect as much excessive dust as possible in between changing out sanding pads. I will soon be losing this battle because the felt surface is now 50% embedded with dust particles. I am going through A LOT of sanding pads and I'm no where near finished with my home renovation project that requires a detail sander. I haven't found a replacement felt pad with a good review and I really don't like the idea of tossing out a $40 sander that can do the job just fine if only the sanding pads would stay adhered. I'll be looking for a replacement detail sander that uses hook & loop pads.\n
