3 STEPS TO KITCHEN CABINET INSTALLATION
In-store Design Consultation
When you visit in-store, bring along the measurements and dimensions of your kitchen; a Kitchen Design Associate will help you plan every element of your new look, from your choice of cabinetry to your countertops and hardware. A computer-generated design of your new kitchen will be shared with you after the completion of an on-site measure. Your Kitchen Designer will follow up with you to set up a convenient time to review and finalize your plans after your measurements are received at the store. To better serve you, The Home Depot has introduced a new online My Kitchen Planner tool to assist in planning and visualizing your dream kitchen.
Once you have created a project online, you can work with our Kitchen Designers to assist in preparing for your new Kitchen purchase—speak with them in person in your local store, or by phone at 1-800-501-1126 or online at homedepot.ca/mykitchenplanner.
An Installation Services Project Coordinator will collaborate with you at your convenience to schedule an on-site measure of your kitchen and review your design options. Once you’ve ordered your cabinets, the Project Coordinator will work with you to schedule the delivery of your product and confirm your dates for installation.
Professional Installation & Inspection
Your Project Coordinator will schedule a suitable time for your project to take place. Your installer will remove existing cabinets, countertops and fixtures, co-ordinate disconnection and reconnection of kitchen plumbing and electricity, and install your new kitchen. The Installation Services team will maintain a safe work site at all times and ensure a thorough cleanup. Once installation is complete, your installer will meet with you to perform a final inspection of your kitchen and confirm your satisfaction.
