3 STEPS TO KITCHEN CABINET INSTALLATION
In-store Design Consultation
Prior to visiting your local store, do some pre-planning: Consider what kitchen styles you like, what mood you’re after, and what your budget is. For inspiration, see our Kitchen Inspiration Gallery. When you visit in-store, bring along the measurements and dimensions of your kitchen; a Kitchen Design Associate will help you plan every element of your new look, from your choice of cabinetry to your countertops and hardware. Your Kitchen Designer will follow up with you to set up a convenient time to review and finalize your plans after your measurements are received at the store. To better serve you, The Home Depot has introduced a new online My Kitchen Planner tool to assist in planning and visualizing your dream kitchen.
Once you have created a project online, you can work with our Kitchen Designers to assist in preparing for your new Kitchen purchase—speak with them in person in your local store, or by phone at 1-800-501-1126 or online.
An Installation Services Project Coordinator will collaborate with you at your convenience to schedule an on-site measure of your kitchen and review your design options*. Once the design and measurements have been verified, you will receive a complete kitchen quote that will include countertop and cabinet installation once all selections have been made. With those details verified, you will also receive a computer-generated design of your new kitchen for your approval. We’ll create your project schedule and finalize payment arrangements. Once you’ve ordered your cabinets, the Project Coordinator will work with you to schedule the delivery of your product and confirm your dates for installation.
*Note that your site measurement fee will be reimbursed with your project order.
