Create a Custom Picture Frame

Use frames as decorative accents for any room. Make frames for pictures, hallway mirrors, bathroom mirrors or corkboards. You are only limited by your imagination.

5 Steps

  1. Measure Moulding
  2. Cut Moulding
  3. Assemble
  4. Finish
  5. Tack in Artwork
Measure Moulding

Step 1

Measure Moulding

Measure the amount of moulding required to frame your artwork adding enough for a mitre on each end.

Cut Moulding

Step 2

Cut Moulding

Using a mitre saw or mitre box cut the moulding to the desired lengths.

Assemble
Assemble

Step 3

Assemble

Assemble the mouldings using wood glue and/or a staple gun.

Finish

Step 4

Finish

Stain or paint the frame and set aside to dry.

Tack in Artwork

Step 5

Tack in Artwork

Place artwork in frame and add staples to keep in place.
