This engineered hardwood flooring combines a Black Walnut hardwood surface with underlying five plywood layers placed cross-grain for added stability. The floors can also withstand variable humidity levels and resist buckling, warping and cupping. A dry solid sawn process ensures a solid wood floor look, firm grain and smooth, splice-free surface. It also maintains the wood’s natural grain, color and consistency. Black Walnut features light cream-coloured sapwood and a red-hued, soft brown heartwood. It provides a heavy, strong and extremely durable wood. It grows in the central and eastern United States. Black Walnut makes the floor stylish and sophisticated while enhancing the contemporary elegance of any living space.
