I had it set on "C", which includes roaches because we get the big roaches, euphemistically called water bugs, in Arizona when it warms up. They wander in on occasion; it's not an infestation. This does nothing to keep them out. Recently, one was seen near the device and actually walked across it before I chased it down and killed it.Date published: 2017-05-08Rated 5 out of 5 by toolcat from Have not seen a bug since I installed it. The cat gives it a five meows rating too! Love it! I saved a lot of money, and the environment, by buying this electric bug/ rodent chaser , compared to using pesticides. Pesticides cost more money for a year's protection. Better for the cat and me: if the cat gets a bug who ate the pesticides, it is not healthy for the cat. Eventually, I would clean up after the pesticides, and they would end up in our watershed after putting the washing water down the drain. So, it is healthier for me, the cat, and the watershed.. I am running it in my garage, on the loudest setting. It is audible on this setting. It is small, with 3 settings to choose from exactly per the specifications.Date published: 2016-10-11
