It does its job. Quietly heats up the space at the lowest energy dial and just half way on the heat dial. However I am noticing some clicking sound in the last week or so. From reading online it appears to be normal but it didn't make this much clicking sound at first.Date published: 2019-03-19Rated 3 out of 5 by unitblocks from This heater is too noisy for bedroom use but does... Leaving it on all night, it raises the temperature of a medium sized room a few degrees.Date published: 2019-02-23Rated 4 out of 5 by Emjay from It is a good heater, lightweight and easy to move... It is a good heater, lightweight and easy to move from room to room. Heated my 12x14 bedroom when outside temperature was in the mid 30's to a comfortable 74 degrees when only on medium. Doubt that it will have much of an impact on electric bill. Positive it is more economical than using my whole house heating system set to 74 degrees.Date published: 2019-02-21Rated 5 out of 5 by AJ from I love that it heats oil and not a metal coil system. Although it is not recommended, I have put wet clothes over it to dry them during this past winter storm. It does require a little assembly. you have to mount the wheels, which takes about five minutes....really easy.Date published: 2019-02-21Rated 4 out of 5 by HomeDepotCustomer from 4 Star Review Rating provided by a verified purchaserDate published: 2019-02-21Rated 5 out of 5 by KSizzle from Gets hot to the touch, but not so hot my... Gets hot to the touch, but not so hot my kids can burn themselves. They'd have to leave their hand on there a while. Keeps our bedroom nice and warm just on the medium setting.Date published: 2019-02-21Rated 5 out of 5 by None2019 from The functionality and the area covered is great this ... Is it normal that when set to high that the power light turns off and on before the room heats up. Looks like the over temp is kicking in as when you turn the temp controller down the power light stays on.I think so - found this in the - As the Heater automatically cycles on and off to maintain the chosen room temperature, the indicator light also cycles on and off to indicate when Heater is operating. As long as the selected power switch is on, the Heater operates, even if the indicator light is off.Date published: 2019-02-01
HOw about its sizeIt's a very convenient size, it has wheels so can easily be moved around. It has different 'watt' settings which allows you to save on electricity depending on your heating needs. This is the first winter season I am using it and so far I am satisfied with the product.Date published: 2019-01-13
Is this equipped with a thermostat that will go on and off as needed, or timer to shut it off?
can this run with a smart plug?
Is there any reason this unit could not be controlled by a smart outlet? I'm looking for a heater that could be powered by SmartThings on at a given time or temp throughout the week.
