Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazewalls In three weekends I put down the Dricore subfloor and smartwall in a 700+ sq ft basement with existing walls in the middle and loads of furniture and junk in the basement. It was quick and looks great.

Can I buy this in store to avoid 25 dollar shipping. How do you cut this stuff? Can ypu attsch directly to concrete blocks and how?

Asked by: Rayrayray
Hi Rayrayray, Our Smartwall panels can be ordered directly in store in the GTA (Ontario) market. Our panels can be cut via a hand saw, circular saw or any other method for that matter. A hand saw is able to provide a cut with the least amount of dust. As for the installation, our panels are fastened to a track system (2"x 2" wood) that is installed prior to our Smartwall panels. Please visit our website for further installation instructions & videos www.dricore.com or contact us at 1-866-767-6374.

I am looking at closing in a porch. Can these be used on both exterior and interior? Or are they just for interior use?

Asked by: adam43
Hi Adam, Our panels are designed for indoor use and to be away from the extreme elements such as rain/snow etc. Should the porch be sealed off the elements, our panels can be used. However we would recommend that the panels be sealed & finished with flooring.

Given the proper heat shielding, how does the smartwall handle close proximity to a wood/pellet stove?

Asked by: Nate
Hi Nate, Given the proper heat shielding Smartwall will handle fine. I would suggest you consult the specs of the pellet store manufacturer and take into consideration their requirements.

Hi, Need to know, what is in it that makes it that costly. One 4x8 dry wall will cost me $7 and to cover the same area this Smart wall will cost me $120. What is so amazing about it and why would someone pay that much ? Thanks

Asked by: Musi
Just to clarify. The cost is not 60$ a sheet, they charge 25$ per sheet for delivery. So it’s actually 85$ per sheet.

what is the R-valve of this product????

Asked by: oznose
Good Day. The panels have an R19 value according to the company web site which also has the installation manual and other bits and bobs that are helpful when considering the product. A brilliant idea that should have been done years ago as they recall the erector set commercial freezers and fridges that I saw installed in large grocery stores and meat plants years ago.
