Rated 2 out of 5 by from Design lacking The slightest breeze will blow the burner out. The burner is set too low so the gas must be set on high to get the flame to the pot and as a result a 20 pound tank is empty in no time at all. After a minor adjustment and raising the burner to within 2 inches of the pot bottom I could turn the gas down and run a tank for almost 16 hours. The number of jets (individual flames) is overkill in my view. Perhaps fewer flames and smaller ports would make it work better. My very small barbecue side burner works better although does not throw as many BTU per hour but almost never blows out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lot of Heat The assembly is easy and quick. The flame is blue and hot. The unit is sturdy and strong. The owner manual could be written a bit better.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible heating capacity I bought this burner to boil my wort for beer brewing. It will take at least an hour to get my 6 gallons of liquid to a boil, and after that, will barely hold a boil. That's what I get for not buying a Blichmann.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not worth your $$ The only reason I’m not happy with my money spent is that the burner don’t have the control knob by the burner. It’s on top by the propane tank, stupid setup I would say.

Can I use this with Natural gas from my home? Is there a conversion kit/connection?

    Asked by: Homebrewer
No, product is high pressure propane only, in order to reach 65 000 BTU.

My dog chewed the hose and Im having trouble finding a new hose that fits. What is the orifice side pipe/thread size? Cant find one that goes into the burner. Thanks

    Asked by: Timo
Orifice would be pipe thread but that a special fitting, best thing would be to buy a new hose regulator. If any trouble finding the part please call 450-641-3048

I see that this stove has a maximum output of 65,000 BTU. If adjusted to it's minimum setting what would the BTU output be? I don't need an exact answer, approximate is good enough.

    Asked by: beergood
    28,000 BTU Approx.

After my initial use I can no longer get a blue flame. I have tried 2 different tanks, adjusted the gas flow, adjusted the air mixture using the silver sleeve on the unit...I am out of ideas. Any input would be appreciated.

Did you make sure no obstruction of the burner such as spider nest or small bugs. I would recommend cleaning the burner with air pressure.
