Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great warranty service I bought this stove January 2017.... Convection blower started to get quite noisy... Contacted the service and warranty department of Pelpro in the USA and after faxing a copy of the receipt they promptly sent me a new blower at no charge... Excellent service ....... Glenn

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice stove Bought stove a month ago ,runs like a top. The only thing that concerns us is the frost all over the air intake hose when it's -20 or colder. Have to put a water catching tray underneath. but very happy with it. 30 hrs on low to burn 40 lbs of pellets. Calvin

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Stove - Needs Frequent Cleaning I have been using this stove in my basement for a couple of months. The best feature is the simple dial to set temperature. The stove will keep the temperature within 3 degrees once set. I am using Flame pellets from Shaw and the firepot has to be cleaned daily. I use a PowerSmith ash vacuum, which I highly recommend.

l have heard that pellet stove hopper r noisy? Is that true?

    Asked by: DLWW
Hello, the hopper doesn't make any noise but pellet stove blowers do make some noise. At start up, you can hear the pellets dropping into the firepot and when the stove is running on high, it does put out an appropriate level of fan noise. If noise is a significant concern, the PP130 and PPC90 models do have a larger and quieter blower but 50,000 BTU heat output may be too large for your space. I hope that this helps!

Can a pellet stove be piped into a chimney not being used? What is the delivery charge? What is the installation charge?

    Asked by: Snake Jr
A pellet stove can be piped into an existing chimney as long as you plan for how you will clean the fly ash after several months of use. If you use pellet-rated venting all the way to the top of your chimney, that will be easier to clean. There are installation videos on www.PelProStoves.com and diagrams in our manuals that you may find helpful and you can always call our tech line with any questions that you may have: (877) 427-3316.

What size chimney pipe is needed 3 or 4 inch ? Dose the chimney have to be above the roof line ?

    Asked by: Dave
For most venting runs that are under 10 feet, 3 inch pipe is just fine. The most commonly recommended installation is up and out a side wall.
