Typically a couple times a year when I go on road trips I like to throw a can of this kinda stuff in my car for maintenance purposes. Before one particular road trip my car had been on and off with a CEL about the engine running lean, but with rare minor lack of power symptoms and no certain mechanic diagnosis. On that road trip I picked up a can of this stuff, put it in the tank and since that road trip I get the CEL noticeably less frequently, and no more lack of power symptoms, so it has me mostly convinced of it's usefulness. I had tried other in engine treatments before but I like this one the best because: - it was the one i noticed an apparent improvement, - large volume of clener - higher concentration - multipurpose These kind of things won't necessarily fix car issues, but I'm of the opinion that used every now and then (eg. couple times a year) they can help overall vehicle health. I would also recommend adding it to a 1/2 empty tank before filling the tank (to mix it into the fuel tank) and then taking your car on highways/road trips so it can get pumped through strongly (think washing your dishes with the tap on low or full blast)Date published: 2017-11-25
