Overview
StudSensor™ Pro LCD quickly and easily locates the edges of wood and metal studs and joists behind walls, floors, and ceilings. When it finds the stud edge, the patented SpotLite™ Pointing System shines a bright beam of light on the wall to identify the target, the easy-to-read display screen indicates the stud edge, and an audio tone sounds. AC WireWarning™ detection continuously detects and alerts you to the presence of live AC voltage.
- Stud Scan mode locates the edges of wood or metal studs up to 19 mm (3/4 in.) deep
- DeepScan® mode doubles the scanning depth to 38 mm (1 1/2 in.)
- WireWarning® detection indicates the presence of live, unshielded electrical wiring up to 51 mm (2 in.) deep
- Should scanning begin over a stud, Zircon's patented "over-the-stud" indicator alerts the user to start the scan in a new location
- Patented TruCal™ technology calibrates to any wall's density and the TruCal™ icon indicates when the tool is ready and calibrated
- Battery included
