Rated 1 out of 5 by from Difficult to assemble I bought 10 of these to go around post bases on my new deck. They are solid enough, but after trying several of these I cannot figure out a simple way to assemble the two pieces around the post base. The two tabs in each corner do line up, but the tabs do not fit together easily. One has to jamb them together with so much force I am afraid I will break them and cut my hands. Even when you get them started, one cannot exert sufficient force around the posts to get the tabs to come together completely. Simply stated, the holes in the receiving tabs are too small. Tabs should have fit together easily, and then held together with plastic glue. Great concept, but falls short of usability. I will be trying two possible solutions: - to apply grease to the tabs and try to assemble, or failing that; - to bore out the tabs and then applying glue.
