Why don't all Home Depot Stores carry the same products?

Over the years, we've learned that different geographical areas have different merchandise demands. The merchandise selection in each Home Depot store is based on its particular customer and climate needs, and on local building code requirements.

Do you install products?

Yes. Home Depot's At-Home Services, available in most areas, provides complete installation of roofing, siding, windows and other products. Please call your local Home Depot store to find out what programs are available in your area.

Can you special order products for me that are not in stock?

Yes, in addition to the 35,000 products stocked by each Home Depot store, we offer approximately 250,000 more products through our special order services. Contact your local Home Depot store for more information.

Why do Home Depot prices vary from store to store?

At The Home Depot, our goal is to provide everyday low prices on all of the items we sell. To achieve that goal, we partner with local manufacturers wherever possible to bring you the lowest prices. As a result, prices for identical items may vary based on local costs.

Are Prices Subject to Change?

We reserve the right to limit quantities to the amount reasonable for homeowners and our regular contractor customers. It is our policy to run truthful, accurate advertising. In the event of any error, we will make every reasonable effort to accommodate our customers, while reserving the right to make price corrections.

Do you provide Material Safety Data Sheets?

As required, The Home Depot maintains and provides Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) to customers and employees upon request. To obtain an MSDS, simply contact the 3E Company (1-800-451-8346). 3E is available 24 hours/day, seven days/week. 3E Company will provide the MSDS via fax or mail. Please identify yourself as a Home Depot customer and provide the following information to the 3E Company.

Full product name
Manufacturer name
Product and/or part number and UPC number

What are the terms and conditions related to the use of your gift cards?

Gift cards are valid toward purchase of merchandise / services at any Home Depot® store in Canada or any The Home Depot store in the United States, its territories or possessions. Gift Card carries no implied warranties and is not a credit card or debit card. Cannot be redeemed or exchanged for cash (unless required by law), cheque, credit, or payment on any credit or loan account, for Tool Rental deposits, or for purchases outside a The Home Depot store (e.g., a customer's home, over telephone, or online). Check your balance or get any other information about this card at any The Home Depot store. Returns for purchases made with this card are subject to our Returns' Policy (details available at any The Home Depot store) and eligible refunds will be made by Store Credit. Lost, stolen, or damaged Gift Cards will not be cancelled and replaced without required proof of purchase. Except as required by law, Gift Cards purchased with cash will not be replaced. Contact your local store for details. Home Depot Incentives, Inc. reserves the right to deactivate or reject any Gift Card issued or procured, directly or indirectly, in connection with fraudulent actions, unless prohibited by law, and Home Depot Incentives, Inc. reserves the right to change these terms. Gift Cards cannot be used in any The Home Depot Mexico locations.
