Incentives
Provincial Home Energy Retrofit Incentive Programs
Your province may offer financial incentives to homeowners who make their homes more energy efficient. Eligible homeowners in participating provinces generally must follow four steps to receive incentives.
Book and complete a pre-retrofit energy audit by an approved energy advisor.
Complete some or all of the improvements recommended by the energy advisor in the pre-retrofit audit report.
Book and complete a post-retrofit energy audit by an approved energy advisor.
Check with your post-retrofit energy advisor to determine how to submit your incentive application to the province.
Be sure to check with your energy advisor to confirm steps and additional requirements that may be specific to your province to ensure that you remain eligible for incentives.
