Gardner Bender Heat Shrink Tubing, 3/32 Inch - 3/64 Inch, Black, 3 Inch, 8/Clam

Thin wall heat-shrink tubing is constructed from durable, flame-retardant black polyolefin which is resistant to both solvents and fluids making it ideal for cable insulation, repair, marking or bundling. Heat shrink not only provides superior mechanical, abrasion and moisture protection but also strengthens connections and provides a comfortable gripping surface. As a result, professional and DIY multi-purpose uses include repairing cords (ranging from large appliance cords to small electronic cables that show wear at pull-out), covering tool and sporting equipment handles, and sealing rope for neat, unravel resistant ends. Finally, tubing capably resists common fluids and solvents. Upon heating to 120 C (250 F) the tubing begins to shrink but will not drip, crack or flow and is self-extinguishing within 30 seconds. GB's Dielectric Grease is specifically formulated to lengthen the life of connectors and improve their performance during unfavorable conditions such as rain, fog, salt spray and temperature extremes. Use dielectric grease whenever you need to insulate electrical connections and prevent water from accessing and corroding the connection. This silicone compound supports electrical performance by reducing line sag, arcing, voltage drops and problems caused by adverse weather conditions. Recommended for use wherever you have outdoor electrical connections including spark plugs, electrical panels, outdoor lighting, transformers, battery terminals, O-rings and rubber and plastic parts.
