This extremely unique looking cactus has distinct deep green ribs running down the spine, and each plant is different! It grows in a castle like form, delighting kids and adults alike. The spines have just a few soft spikes here and there that will not prick, making this a very friendly cactus. Fairy Castle is a great option for people who want something to sit on a sunny windowsill, but dont want to fuss over them too much. This is an excellent plant for beginners!
So cute. So fluffy! Everyone can get excited about Fluffy Ruffles, a variety of Boston Fern with shorter, thicker fronds showcasing the most beautiful laced texture that brings the lush feeling of tropical nature into any design scheme. Hang it near a bright window out of the touch of direct sunlight and youre ready to enjoy the freshness it will add to your favourite room. Like regular Boston Fern, this little variety will clean the air in your home, and is easy to maintain.
This cool-looking succulent is originally from South Africa. Similar in looks to Aloe Vera, the Gasteria plant family features tough, sturdy leaves. It tolerates lower light levels than many other succulents, making it an ideal house or office plant. The leaves often have cool stripes or bumps, making each specimen truly unique. Blooms are typically pink or red in colour and appear on tall spikes in spring or summer.
With lush succulent leaves that resemble a fishbone or ric-rac ribbon, this unique plant is the perfect zig to your zag. The stems begin growing upright, but as they get longer, they naturally cascade, making it a great candidate to drape over the edge of a shelf, or tuck it into a cool macrame hanger. This truly unusual plant is a cactus, but from the rainforest jungle, not the desert! This means it has far fewer spikes (it will have a few, so just take care!) and likes a bit more water than the average cactus. Mature plants can produce flowers in the summer. Bonus: pet-friendly! Also known as Epiphyllum anguliger.
