The Home Depot Canada Foundation is proud to work with the following organizations who share our commitment to supporting affordable housing initiatives and helping homeless youth with life skills development through programs that focus on critical supportive services.
360°kids exists to improve the lives of homeless and at-risk youth and young families in York Region. They take a holistic approach to helping at-risk youth with a wide range of services that address housing, employment training, and health and well-being.
Dedicated to preventing, reducing and ending youth homelessness in Canada. They inspire and enable communities and all levels of government to organize, plan and implement strategies to address youth homelessness in a coordinated, measurable and impactful way.
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Calgary provides a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills for life.
The Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness (CAEH), is creating a national movement to end homelessness in Canada by working with communities to establish 10-year plans. In collaboration, the Canadian Alliance to End Homelessness and The Home Depot Canada Foundation will raise awareness of homelessness and seek out ways to end youth homelessness in Canada.
Covenant House Vancouver (CHV) exists for young people for whom there is often no one else - homeless and at-risk youth aged 16-24 who either have willingly fled physical, emotional and/or sexual abuse or those who have been forced from their homes.
Dans la rue provides shelter and supportive services to homeless and at-risk youth in the greater Montreal area. Once the immediate needs of the youth they serve are met, they help them acquire the skills and resources they need to lead independent, rewarding lives.
Egale works to improve the lives of LGBTQI2S people in Canada and to enhance the global response to LGBTQI2S issues. Egale will achieve this by informing public policy, inspiring cultural change, and promoting human rights and inclusion through research, education and community engagement.
Eva’s Initiatives works locally and nationally to prevent, reduce and end youth homelessness. They operate three specialized housing options in Toronto and offer innovative programs and services to help homeless and at-risk youth reach their potential to lead productive, self-sufficient and healthy lives.
Phoenix Youth Programs
Since 1987, Phoenix Youth Programs (Phoenix) has created an extensive variety of programs and services to meet the needs of at-risk and homeless young people aged 12 - 24.
Phoenix is the largest non-profit organization of its kind in Atlantic Canada working in ten locations across Halifax.
Raising the Roof is a national leader in long-term solutions to ending homelessness. Each year, they support more than 50 community agencies across the country, and work together with partners in all sectors to address the issue. They bring awareness and attention to the challenges of homelessness, engaging Canadians through public education.
Youth Empowerment & Support Services (Y.E.S.S.) provides shelter, safety, and hope to youth between the ages of 15 and 21 facing difficult realities in the Edmonton area.
Youth Services Bureau (YSB) supports young people 12 years of age and older and their families as they resolve complex issues affecting their physical and emotional well-being. They help youth get off the streets through a variety of programs and services ranging from emergency food and shelter, transitional and long term housing through counseling to skills training and education.
