Can I use my card to purchase products on homedepot.ca?
  • Yes, The Home Depot® Consumer Credit Card may be used to purchase products online at homedepot.ca.

How do I request a credit increase?

What is an authorized user?
  • An authorized user is anyone whom the primary account holder has authorized to make purchases on their Home Depot® Consumer Account. Although the authorized user can make purchases, he/she cannot request account information or make changes to the account.

How do I add authorized users to my account?

Payment Information

How do I make a payment?
  • You can make your payment by mail, at your local store, or through your financial institution.

    The Home Depot® stores can accept payments made in cash, cheque or direct debit to your Bank account. To ensure correct processing, please bring your account number or statement to the store. Click here to find the store nearest you.

What should I do if my payment has not been applied to my account?
  • If your payment was made by mail, please allow 10 business days from the mailing date for your payment to appear on your account. If your cheque has been cashed and does not appear on your statement, please call us at 1-800-747-3787.

Can I change my payment due date?
  • At this time, the billing process is unable to accommodate changes to the payment due date assigned to individual accounts. Specific dates help us provide you with the highest level of service when processing your monthly statement.

What should I do if the payment applied to my account is incorrect?
  • If your statement shows that payment was received, but it is for an incorrect amount, please contact Citi Cards Canada Inc. directly at 1-800-747-3787.

Interest Charges

How can I avoid paying interest charges on deferred interest special financing plans?
  • For deferred interest plans, interest accrues from the purchase transaction date and will be waived if each minimum monthly payment required during the promotional period is paid in full by its payment due date and the purchase price is paid in full by the plan expiration date. If not, interest will be charged at an Interest Rate of 28.8% per annum in accordance with the Consumer Cardholder Agreement.

Can I contact The Home Depot Credit Services via e-mail?
  • Not at this time. However, you can write to Customer Care with secure messaging by accessing your Home Depot Account Online.

*Credit charges on your promotional purchases will accrue from the date of the purchase and will be waived if each minimum monthly payment required during the promotional period is paid in full by its payment due date and the purchase price is paid in full by the plan expiration date.

If not, interest will be charged at a Credit Rate of 28.8% per annum in accordance with the Consumer Cardholder Agreement. During the promotional period, each minimum monthly payment is equal to 1% of Purchases or $10, whichever is greater, plus other amounts as described in your Consumer Cardholder Agreement and as set out in your Account Statement.

For Debt to which a Regular Financing Plan applies (as those terms are defined in the Consumer Cardholder Agreement), each minimum monthly payment is equal to 1% of total (i) unpaid Purchases and (ii) unpaid Cash Advances appearing on statements prior to the current statement as well as on the current statement (if any), plus related interest and any past due amounts, or $10, whichever is greater, plus other amounts as described in your Consumer Cardholder Agreement and as set out in your monthly Account Statement.

The billing period covered by each Account Statement will be approximately 28 to 31 days. There are no annual membership or renewal fees and the retailer does not charge any plan administration fees.

Examples of borrowing costs at the standard credit rate of 28.8% per annum (assuming a regular financing plan balance owing during a 30 day month covered by the Account Statement and no other credit plans, fees, additional payments or other charges.)
