Rated 5 out of 5 by Liz E from Fantastic, professional and so easy to work with I first contacted Zen after my Poly B pipes had been replaced, to complete the patching up of ceilings and some walls. Ryan from Zen came in, evaluated and quoted a price I was happy with, to drywall and repaint ceilings. They understood my brief, listened to what I hoped to do (subject to my budget) and advised accordingly. They did an excellent job coming in on quote. I then had him complete a repaint of a bedroom and two bathroom renovations as they had been affected by the poly b so although I was nervous about cost, they needed doing. Once again, he did an excellent job - never went over quoted price, explained all jobs and went over and above; the teams attention to detail and finishing properly was outstanding; they even patched up old dents in walls that I hadn’t got around to fixing, as they “had the cement out anyways” - the team just quietly dealt with it, refusing to charge me as wasn’t on the job quote but they did it because they take pride in their work and wanted to see everything properly finished. I would absolutely recommend and will be calling on the team at Zen for all and any future jobs without hesitation. I also had no hesitation leaving them alone in my home - I was always working whilst they were alone at my place but they were brilliant with my dogs, made sure to keep the property secure and clean up was fantastic. A great team!

I had a great experience with Ryan at Zen Painting, I had called Home Depot in mid July 2023 with regards to a drywall and painting project which I needed help in located in the South part of Calgary. The drywall and painting project scope was challenging, and our standards were high, not unreasonably high, but high nonetheless after recent experiences of trying to find our own people to help us with our project and getting low quality workmanship. Within the hour after contacting Home Depot with our needs, I got a call back from Ryan. He was courteous, listened to our needs, and was able to be at the site when convenient for us. His pricing was very fair, there were no surprises or extra unexpected charges, he started when he said he would start, he finished when he said he would finish. We were so pleased by his quality of work, attention to detail, and he went above and beyond to make the project a success even in some of the little things that were not in our quote, but were necessary to finish on a timely basis. He did not need close supervision of his work, and he was trustworthy and personable. I would not hesitate to recommend Zen Painting for anyone’s drywall/painting needs.

He took great care in preparing our house for it so that we would have minimal mess. He was quick and efficient. He was very professional and personal. He didn’t try to “sell the job” in that he gave us various quotes that included the entire house or just certain rooms and his quotes were quite reasonable. We would highly recommend Ryan.
