\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n Francesco from\n Rough opening specification\n The specifications of this door call for a rough opening of 30.5x80. This is completely wrong. You need to allow for 1/8" gap on either side plus the thickness of your jamb material times 2 plus 1/4" to 1/2" allowance for shimming on either side. Example: 30" door + (1/8"×2) + (5/8"×2) + 3/4" shimming = 32-1/4" rough opening. That is for the width. The height needs to be the door plus 1/8" gap on top plus 1/4" to 1/2" gap on the bottom plus the jamb thickness plus 1/4". Therefore, 80+1/8+1/2+5/8 jamb+1/4=81.5. I hope this helps some less experienced do-it-yourselfers.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n Stew from\n Looks Great\n Purchased this door last week, now painted and installed and looks great. Problem removing first label solved by applying heat with hair dryer on second label which then came off easy without leaving any residue.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n Avg Joe from\n Great replacement door\n I don’t know why you would pay an extra $50 for the same door with a pre-drilled hole, so this was much better and I just drilled the holes myself. I was replacing some very over-painted doors that wouldn’t shut properly anymore. The doors themselves are easy to work with when it comes to shaving them down to fit or chiseling the sides for hinges.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 3 out of\n 5\n by\n Dunbone from\n Good door, but watch out\n One reviewer complained that the door was not square. This is by design, and I'm happy it's got that tapered edge. So make sure you put your hinges on the correct side.\r\nWhat my issue is with the door is the panel design may not align the same on both sides. Let's say you drill your door handle exactly in the space between the bottom and middle panels. Look on the other side of the door and you may find that it's not in the middle but like an inch off. One door I bought had the panels on the one side shifted almost one inch down from the other side. So, everytime I get one of these doors, I have to inspect each one before I buy. This may mean discarding 2 or 3 before picking the right door without the issue.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 2 out of\n 5\n by\n Scott C from\n Manufacturer's labels\n The labels on the door do not peal off easy. They come off I'm many small pieces. They leave glue on the door, which makes cutting the door with a router hard and it gums up the router plate. Labels should be on the top or bottom. Not one on each side and change the glue type. Very frustrating\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n MGGB from\n These doors are fine!\n Yes the edge in not square! But when installed correctly with the hinge pin to the 30" side of the door, they work just fine, with no chance of the door hitting the jam on the hinge side when closed! If your having trouble like the the previous reviewer, just mortise the hinge to the other side of the door! Don't shave it down!\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 1 out of\n 5\n by\n Villian from\n Door not Square\n End of door not square with panel which in my case causes door hinge to bind before door is able to close. The door doesn't close without almost pulling the hinge off the jamb. Needless to say the door is constructed poorly. Don't know if I'll return it or try and shave it down so it will work. The Oakville store had a whole pallet of these doors on the floor. Buyer beware.\n
