\n \n \n \n Rated 2 out of\n 5\n by\n The Perennial gardener from\n Do not recommend for Seedlings\n Not happy. This product has small pebbles, wood chips about the size of my small finger. Lots of unwanted filler. Now my seedling’s leaves are being devoured. Eaten by something in this bag of soil. Seedlings planted in other soil right beside these pots are NOT being eaten. My plants are perennials I’ve started growing since early spring to prepare for next years garden. You’ve wasted my time and effort in this. Now I’ll wait another full year fir my perennials. \nLove Home Depot. \nI do not recommend this product.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 1 out of\n 5\n by\n YesGuy from\n Very bad\n I use it for my seeding as every year I does. This time the soil quality is the worst. My plants are very thin and weak. Some of them even dead. Some white material appears on top of the soil. And , too much dirt and sand been added in it. Soil is not worth for $15.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 1 out of\n 5\n by\n Unhappy the 8th dwarf from\n Don't buy potting soil here!\n The soil i received was obviously stored outside, got damp and immediately got moldy once i tried to use it to pot my vegetable seeds.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n MelVal from\n Best Soil Ever!\n This is the ONLY soil I will ever buy. You get 60L for $9.00 and it's not all full of peat moss. There is even added fertilizer and perlite. I have bought tons of other soils (including the worst which is Vigoro the Home Depot brand) and I will never ever buy anything else. Holds the water great too. I only water my planters with this soil half as much as I do my other ones.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n Santenay from\n It really does grow better plants\n I’ve never had poor results from any Miracle-Gro product. This soil has lots of organic matter but, unlike other brands, has more in it than just peat moss. I use for raised vegetable beds, pits as well as to improve the garden soil.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 1 out of\n 5\n by\n Dfair from\n Hydrophobic\n I got this soil a week ago but it is hydrophobic. I sat it in water for a week after filling all my containers they now float instead of absorbing. I also pour water on top of it I think it all just evaporates instead of being absorbed. The only way it has absorbed is if I turn it into mud by mixing by hand witch compacts it. Unless you want a ton of extra work check the soil before you fill your pots.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 1 out of\n 5\n by\n Howes from\n What have they done to this mix?\n I've been using Miracle Grow potting soil for years to grow tomatoes. This year has been an absolute disaster. They must have added plenty of peat to their mix, because water won't drain and the whole crop has developed root rot. At the same time, the leaves have withered and branches broke during our recent hot weather. A visit to the Miracle Grow website shows I'm far from the only one with this experience. Normally at this time of year my five plants are producing so much fruit I'm giving away bowls of it to neighbours. This year, I'm about to sample my first couple of dozen tomatoes and it looks like I'll be lucky to get a couple of dozen more. A complaint to Miracle Grow prompted some sympathy, much dodging but nothing concrete. This is the last year I'll be buying this product.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 1 out of\n 5\n by\n JTPerth from\n Grubs!\n Quality control seems to be off with this product. I bought a big bag and was really disappointed to see grub eggs throughout the soil. Very disappointing. This wasn't cheap, I'll need to re-pot all my plants and I'll need to make *very* sure I dispose of the contaminated soil.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n Andrea from\n Nutrient content excellent; needs to be screened\n There were pieces of plastic in it. Also, there were "chunks" of what seemed to be wood that were 4 inches long. That is too long for a potting mix since you want to be able to use it in all sizes of pots. The nutrient content is excellent, though. The tomatoes grew very fast and became very big. All other vegetables as well as flowers performed very well.\n
