First 4 letters went great but after that it was very dull and smoked its way through the rest. I say for small projects it would be great for. When using to route letters I should have went with a bigger router bit.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 3 out of\n 5\n by\n Paddy66 from\n Works well but needs roller guide\n I've used this bit to cut 1/4" channels in various projects, using the plunge-router attachment. This bit could really use an upgrade to be more truly useful. A flush roller-bearing would be ideal. Then it could be used to follow routing templates. As is, it can only clumsily follow an external guide on an attachment. Careful, this makes a loud, high-pitched whine when used for plunge routing. Much more painful sound than a standard plunge router.\n
