There is an air leak at the couplings. It could be the male fitting that inserts into the automatic plug-in fitting. I'm hoping a different brand fitting will stop the leak.\n

Ran this all day spraying knock down texture on a 1,300 square foot house doing both walls and ceilings. Never tripped a breaker or overheated and there were multiple times when it was running constantly.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n Aquaman from\n Heavy Compressor Alternative\n I have read most of the reviews, and wonder why people didn't just buy the MAC5200 instead? The MAC5200 supposedly weighs about the same, has a little more capacity, but it is on wheels. Even a little woman can move it easily! It has a handle that folds down, and can be used to store the pneumatic hose. Why are so many people missing the opportunity to buy the next level up, when there are so many complaints of how heavy the MAC2400 compressor is? I love my MAC5200 compressor, and it will do the same amount of work this compressor can do. I love the fact that I can just wheel the compressor around a construction site, and use it without excessive noise problems. And from what I read, it will supply enough air to run two nail guns, and has no problem keeping up.\n

I had a big...\n A must have for the professional or occasional use home owner for all your air needs! I had a big 33gal oilless craftsman for the last 12years and needed to downsize. Always woke the neighbors when I fired that one up in the morning so loud! This runs very quiet and dial adjustment is much more precise for required air pressure! Dial reads within a pound of my digital tire checker! The first one ordered I could not get the oil cap to thread in straight it was cross threaded so I returned entire unit for replacement! no problem with the second purchase! Only con I see it does walk around my bench from vibration and I wonder if this is normal operation when running so my fix is a couple wood clamps at the end of the bench and now it is solid! I'm in Florida so I will change to SAE 30 weight at first oil change! Great buy highly recommended!\n

Heavy though to lug around - should have wheels. Air tanks are thin metal. Hole in mine already. Can't replace bottom tank - welded to chassis. Poor design that way.\n
