If you are doing that, I do recommend that you bring a power drill with a set of bits and a stud detector. The header board was above both windows so the drywall mollies were not needed.\n

Best used in a situation where the curtains will not be opened and closed frequently.\n

While these don't completely match they are the same color and have the rubbed bronze as our big one has. The squad finial doesn't match the spiral finial on our big rod but they are attractive. The bracket that came with the rods didn't bring the rod out far enough from the wall for the curtains to move freely so my husband attach the brackets to small blocks of wood and then attach those to the walls for the curtains to be able to move properly.\n

Mine just look a little bit silly, like they're too small for a 31" window. Hard to explain. Might be better with a smaller window, or maybe I just need to see it in a different light, but these are well constructed for the price.\n

Fortunately my door is just over 36" so the rod was attached at around 38". I would not recommend this for anything wider, as the rod starts to droop quite significantly after inch 40. Yes, it will hang at 48 inches, but I would not want to use it for anything at all at that width. \r\n Build quality is what one would expect for the price, but the usable width should stop at 40". Oil rubbed bronze color is consistent with other like-colored material. Given the option, I would purchase a different rod. This one will do the job, but next time I will find something more robust.\n

\n \n \n \n \n Rated 1 out of\n 5\n by\n Douglas from\n Screws are too short\n The screws were too short. One inch screws supplied is not long enough to go through the bracket and drywall and leave enough to go into the wall stud. Same type of rods bought at different store had inch and a half screws that works. I had to use some inch and a half screw I had, but of course the color doesn't match the bracket now. Very poorly designed product.\n
