I'm a huge milwaukee fan and have never had an issue with their tools, but something went seriously wrong with this palm nailer. It was also quite a bit slower and a lot heavier than a good pnamatic palm nailer.\n

However, you can't use it with a nail head less than a 0.20 inch diameter. (Measure the head of an 8d box nail to see what that looks like.) In other words, there are some 8d box nails that will get stuck in this nailer. I used it to drive 10d nails, and it worked fine, but there is a learning curve. First of all, you must position the sleeve of the nailer fairly straight on the nail head before nailing. Otherwise, the nail will bend. Also, it is a little tricky to get the nail driven flush to the 2 by 4 without overdoing it because this palm nailer is powerful, and if you go too far, it will put a gouge in the wood. Although it is a little awkward to use due to the width of the tool, I found it easy enough to hold, even though I don't have big hands. Wear ear protection, because when the nail is being driven, it is pretty loud. It's great tool.\n
