The pieces need labels. All screw and nail holes should be pre-drilled. Parts should be more self-aligning. Fasteners should be better quality - I had to provide my own for a decent result.\n

Better instructions on assembling the roof would help - that took me a fit to figure it out from the instructions, which were for the most part easy enough to understand. Some lumber parts are not labeled so be sure to have tape measure on the ready to make sure you're installing the right piece. Be ready to pre-drill starter holes for most of the assembly so that you don't end up splitting pieces.\n

I am particular about fitting pieces together correctly, measuring and making sure it looks and works correctly. In fact, I love putting things together.\r\nMany parts were not to spec and/or warped. It is together, but we would NOT recommend this item for the price or the quality. The directions and visuals were incomplete in some areas and redundant in others. It is over-priced.\n

The narrow width of 20" is all I could fit in my 4' wide side alley. After I put it together, it fits the exact purpose I bought it for. Good quality door hardware.\r\nHowever, putting it together was a 3-4 day project and I am quite handy and have all the tools needed. First, the wood is unprotected and if you want to keep it outside, like I do, you need two coats of wood finish. Second, the shed is not sturdy enough and the parts do not fit together good enough to use it as is. I needed to add my own screws, brackets, strips to re-enforce it. Finally, the disregard for the installation time and effort is clear: no pre-drilled holes, no pre-connected parts. The need to install six shingles to the roof was the pinnacle of the annoyance for me. \r\nAll in all, it is a good shed, but too expensive for the amount of effort you need to put in to assemble it correctly. If I were to buy it again, I would not pay more than $300 for it.\n

It largely went together well but aligning the walls and back was a bit confusing and they could give better direction for that plus where to caulk. Shingles are very fragile, I split several of them. Given all that, it is over priced.\n

I'm not averse to some assembly, but for the price they could have ponied up a bit more packing material and done some of the assembly at point of manufacture (prime example, they assembled the roof about 40%, all outside shingles and trim need to be attached "to avoid damage during shipping"). They also have a page that defines each individual piece's dimensions, instead of taking the the extra effort of labeling any of them - so find the 2.5 x .5 x 36 piece, not be confused with the 2.5 x .5 x 35 piece or any of the several angled 2.5 x .5 x 36.25 pieces??!! \r\n\r\nAside from that frustration, you need to be very careful with some of the smaller pieces - be sure you drill pilot holes and don't be tempted to just let the screws do the work, as splitting WILL happen.\r\n\r\nAs a mea culpa, I will concede that I did this project solo. Not sure how well this will age, but this was during the "social distancing" of 2020, so didn't want to put myself or anyone else at risk to hold things while drilled and so forth - for best results; have a helper.\r\n\r\nIf you like the attached picture, I used Olympic WaterGuard 1 gal. Harvest Gold Transparent Wood Stain and Sealer to get that color.\n

There are some very good things about the product but a few negatives. Most wooden parts were well formed and, in general, fit together pretty well. The particle board roof base was a tad warped at the edges. The metal parts are very good and screws and nails are provided in a useful pouch. The directions could be better. We were definitely confused in spots. We had to do one step of the assembly over. The shed is not quite square at the back. I had to come up with some cedar spacers in order to attach a couple of pieces of trim on the sides near the rear. There was a significant unprotected spot at the top of the shed in back. I used the better part of a whole tube of caulk sealing it up. I am keeping my fingers crossed that the roof will be watertight.\n
