It works well for general purpose cutting also. The blade delivers a smooth finish in porcelain and natural stone tiles.\r\nIt performs very well in wet or dry applications and really can't find a better blade for the money. I have also used this blade on small granite work with excellent results as well.\n

Continuous Rim General Purpose Diamond Blade. From time to time I do tiling jobs with stone, and this blade serves very well to cut stone while reducing chipping and damaged edges that would occur with other types of blades that are not continuous rim blades.\n

Diamond blades are harder and can be used on concrete and other hard materials, we are using this to help in out current project to prepare cracks in the concrete parking pads for repair with a concrete filler. You can use this for many other project, but Makita is a brand of tools and parts you can trust.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 3 out of\n 5\n by\n Anonymous from\n Good price but not the best cut.\n I spent a lot of time shopping for a diamond blade for my wet tile saw. This blade does cut quick and no issues in getting my blade to do L or thin cuts. But it left a rough edge. From what I can tell the blade is a little thicker than my original blade. The original blade was a Skill Saw and even though it ran out of cutting speed but still had a smooth edge. From looking at the blades the Skill Saw was thinner. See the images I have posted of the cuts.\n

I have other Makita tools and have been very pleased with not only their performance but also durability. This blade works well and I anticipate it will last as long or longer than the original.\n
