Needs a bit more of a push on the tip to shoot the nail than i would like and the shingle catch for the height adjustment could use some modification but other than that minimal misfires covering 3000sq ft in 90 degrees and rainy weather\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n AustinHoustonTexas from\n Dry fire lockout worked once. Hasn’t missed a nail yet.\n Using a 6 gallon pancake and 50 ft hose at 100-105 lbs, gun has worked great for the small area repairs I do. I love the bumpers that keep it from sliding, and the select fire is great to have an option. The first coil used the dry fire lockout perfectly, but the next 15 or so coils since hasn’t worked at all. Not a huge problem but it’s a feature that should be working. Only other complaint is there’s NO HOOK OPTION! Man, would it be great to have it hooked in a belt going up 20 ft of ladder.\n

So far I am very happy with the performance. Has a different feel than the bostich but my last bostich skips a lot and even after a rebuild kit doesn't work right so I decided to give the ridged a try. The only thing is the 2 part door for loading the nails is a little more cumbersome than the single door of the bostich.\n

It worked fine for the first 500 square feet of shingles but things went downhill fast after that. It would not feed a nail three or more times per coil. Each time you had to stop, open up the gun move the nails forward manually then close up the gun. Real hard to get a work flow going.\n

I only had one time when it didn't fire and couple times it double fired(two nails side-by-side) which I just left in.
