If they would have been sold in store like that they would be 1/2 price. Extremely disappointed. Even now when they are put together, the top corner curled up.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n Diana from\n Larger than expected\n It’s larger than I expected but that‘s okay, I can put extra stuff in it. Needed help extra hands to assemble. The front corners of the lid curl up slightly But you can push them back down, that doesn’t bother me.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 1 out of\n 5\n by\n Stefan from\n 18.2 cu. ft. Storage Trunk Deck Box\n I purchased two of the storage boxes. because of high rating they have - what a mistake! Less than a month on the terrace and both are almost unusable. The box top has lifted up in both corners - on both boxes. No one has ever sat on top, they are used strictly for storage - no way I can use them if it rains or in the winter. What disappointment and waste of money!\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 3 out of\n 5\n by\n Mike H from\n Holds a lot. Not the best looking.\n Bought this a couple months ago. It's big. Really big. Can hold seat and back cushions for 2 big chairs, and a 2 person sofa easily, with spare room for table settings etc. Assembles fairly easily and is very sturdy, however, the plastic on the lid discolored white around the edges in areas due to bends right out of the box. When completely shut, the lid is kindve warped which takes away from the aesthetics. Overall it does the job, but I'm sure there are nicer looking boxes out there.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n Dean from\n Solid Storage Trunk Deck Box\n This Storage Trunk Deck Box is solid and we are very pleased! It does take awhile to put together and the 4 snap on corners was a challenge. After walking away for a while, we got them. That part is a 2 person installation for sure! We are pleased so far.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 2 out of\n 5\n by\n Anonymous from\n Unit was received damaged.\n Great storage bin but, poor service around any issues. When unit received damaged it was weeks for Home Depot to respond or offer any assistance. Really needed a replacement lid and could not get that part. Home Depot offered no solution and poor at responding.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n Gil J from\n Deck Box\n Good size to hold cushions for an outdoor loveseat and 2 chairs. The only concern is that the top became distorted from the heat. Solid reinforced construction however the top still curled up at the edges\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 2 out of\n 5\n by\n Anonymous from\n Generally Disappointing\n Given the company [Rubbermaid] and the price, I felt this storage box was of inferior quality.\r\n\r\nIt was not easy to put together. In fact, many pieces could have been pre-assembled without compromising the shipping packaging. Hundreds of screws and bolts later, I finally figured it all out and managed to get the thing together.\r\n\r\nOnce it was together, The locking latch didn't line up and the top did not sit level with the box frame. I use it to store tools on my deck so the fact it doesn't look that great doesn't matter and it basically does the job. \r\n\r\nMy previous storage box was a cheap plastic model from China but it was easy to put together, lasted over ten years and was half the price. \r\n\r\nGenerally dissatisfied but did not have the energy to take the thing apart and ship it back. It functions and that is about it.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 1 out of\n 5\n by\n Elodie from\n Poor quality for price.\n Box was damaged when received. Corners of the storage trunk deck box were already damaged. Due to Covid-19, we decided to keep the product as it was aesthetic issues. After a few rainy days, top of the storage trunk deck box is already splitting and breaking. Not the best purchase.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 3 out of\n 5\n by\n Lynne P from\n Think twice\n Easy enough to put together and nice size but a little disappointed with the overall product. Hinges/hydraulics are so stiff it’s hard to open the lid. I have to hold the box so the whole thing doesn’t come up with it. And the lid itself doesn’t sit flat on the box allowing bugs, leaves, moisture to enter. I expected better quality overall for a Rubbermaid product. For the price, I’d say keep shopping.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n sabot from\n top corners don't lay flat\n The trunk is a great size, holds all my patio furniture pillows and then some. Fairly easy to build, but it does take time and two people will make it easier. Only reason why I gave it a 4 is because it came damaged. It was evident that it wasn't a previous return based on the way it was packaged. But the top had some scuff marks and one of the corners a gouge. All livable but what bothered me the most is that the corners of the top bow upwards. The other stuff was probably damaged in delivery, but the top corners bending upwards is a manufacturing defect or the product material. I decided to keep it as I needed the trunk and could live with the damages as it is an outdoor product. I was hesitant because of the top because if water can get in then it defeats the purpose. But we had a major rain storm recently and the contents remained dry. So even though there is a gap where the corners lift, the design doesn't permit water to enter.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 1 out of\n 5\n by\n ooops from\n dissapointed\n product came today. I was already anticipating problems because the box was so beaten up. I removed from box and sure enough there was cosmetic damage to pieces and the hardware was missing as well as the instruction manual. Pretty dissapointing, however, Home Depot made it right by simply taking it back, but this thing is massive and a pretty big hassle to transport to local store. Ah well....\n
