Soap and hot water was used, did not work. Went and bought draino, didn't work either. A couple pumps with this plunger and the toilet is flowing close to normal now, will plunge it a couple more times today. This plunger actually works and recommend for all toilet clogs!\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n Mandanna from\n It’s bloody magic!\n After trying to clear a blockage for almost three days with a regular flanged plunger. As well as all the tips and tricks and old wives tales on the internet. I decided to try this after reading the reviews. Figured I’d still have to call a plumber but it would be worth a try. No word of a lie, plunged it twice and it was clear! HIGHLY RECOMMEND\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n Teedee from\n Works great, gets a good seal!\n I've had a couple of plungers but the hole in my toilet isn't perfectly round. This one gets a good seal so the full force of the air gets sent through, it does a great job. With other plungers I'd have to plunge and plunge and plunge and plunge and it would just get messy. This one will do the job in two or three pumps.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n Peter from Toronto from\n A solution to problems with low volume toilets\n Technological progress. During my lifetime many products have continually improved. Toilet plungers are one of them. They have improved by improving the volume of air, and pressure they apply, and how well they seal. Needed improvements since low volume toilets have increased problems with what plungers solve.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n willi from\n It works!\n Spent several hours with a partially plugged toilet; plunger, soap, hot water; all the 'tricks'. Finally gave up and purchased this toilet plunger as a last resort before calling a plumber; three pumps and the toilet was cleared. This plunger has a great seal and really pushes a large volume of water.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n Ivan from\n It works well\n I have had the opportunity to try this several times. I have an American standard H2O low flush toilet which has an elongated hole. It seals the hole well and therefore it got enough force to push the clog through. The reason I bought this one is because it said it accommodates all toilet designs including my style toilet. \nI had previously purchased a different model from HD, the slightly less expensive one with blue rubber cup and it didn't work because it didn't seal the hole (it left gaps) see my other review. This one works great and seems to be made well. I like the T handel, I expect it to last a long time. I took off one star because you have to be careful when taking it out and putting it back in the holder. Also they could have made the rubber a bit less heavy duty which in turn would make it a bit smoother and easier to plunge. The last thing you want is to go gang busters and splash a lot. Out of the few types I've tried this is definitely the best one. I'd recommend to spend the extra mula and get something that works well.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n LiAn from\n Korky Beehive Max Plunger\n This plunger is worth seeking out! The newer designs of toilets don’t have a nice round hole for a regular plunger to work properly. The Korky Beehive Max Plunger fits great & stops all of the backsplash. I highly recommend this item.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n Mhare from\n Best plunger ever!\n Best plunger ever! Well worth the price. Yes you can go with a cheaper one and take forever plunging away. When this thing works in one or two easy plunges. The handle makes it so much easier to use as well.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n CDFK from\n New style toilets - it works!\n Worked great the first try on the more square opening style of newer toilets. Only critique would be the handle itself, but for the occasional use, the fact that it works is what's important. :-)\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n Bill K from\n A truly superior toilet plunger!\n We had a badly blocked toilet that I could not unclog even after several frustrating hours using my old plunger. I next tried a toilet auger, still with no success whatsoever. As a last ditch effort before calling a plumber, I purchased this Korky "Beehive Max" plunger. I was skeptical that it would actually work but, to my amazement, it took only six or seven forceful downstrokes with this plunger to completely clear the stubborn blockage. Apparently, the main reason this Korky Beehive plunger works so well is that the flexible flange at the bottom of the plunger forms a good seal with the toilet, allowing water within the upper bellows portion of the plunger to be forced at high pressure through the toilet. An added benefit is that there was very little splashback using this plunger. Needless to say, I am very satisfied with this Korky Beehive Max plunger and recommend it highly for any homeowner. It costs a bit more than some other plungers, but it can save you the expense and hassle of a service call to a plumber. (Note: Unlike many of the other reviews that are posted for this product, I actually purchased this plunger and did not receive it as part of some promotion).\n
