\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n camper 101 from\n Laying out foundation hole\n I bought this to help layout a walk out basement foundation. I was able to position the laser about 60' from my base reference point and the furthest point of the foundation. It has worked great so far. It is a quick and easy one person job to get elevations exactly where you want them. The accuracy seems good enough for this type of work. I have no way to verify out in the field but the results are consistent from one days setup to the next. Just given that I would say it works great. It is slightly cumbersome to determine how far above the desired grade you are because you have to slide the receiver down the rod until you get a reading. Sliding the receiver down the rod isn't a smooth procedure and is worse if you have to cross a segments in the rod. Other than that it is a breeze!\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n jmv1953 from\n Easy to use\n Over the last 30 yrs I have had quite a few lasers. This one is the easiest one to set up and get working. Take down is just as easy. Battery life is very good. I can use this indoors or out. It is accurate enough at close range to set up a kitchen. Outdoors it has sufficient range to do all the site work on any lot in our area and our average lot is two acres. This is a fine piece of equipment at a very fair price. Thank you.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n BradHall from\n Great Kit\n I've been very happy with this laser. I use it doing concrete work and its been very accurate. I really like how it self levels. Im really happy with the hard case that lets you put the tripod and everything in one case. Works good outdoors and indoors for me. Only thing that I didn't like about it at first, now im used to though, is that the target doesn't make one steady beep when your level its just a really fast beep, that's a little confusing when your so used to the steady beep. But overall very happy with it, and have gotten a lot of uses out of it, Ive used it probably 50 times and haven't had to replace the batteries that came with it yet.\n

This tool has saved me enough time in site layout on one job to have nearly paid for it. Can't recommend it enough. I would pay an extra $100 if it were rain-proof, though...\n
