Fits perfect and drill balances better when sitting on the battery as a bonus.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n Maureen B from\n 18V adaptor power source\n Easy to use. Battery charges within a fairly fast period of time, so you don’t have to wait long. Very good alternative to try and find 18V batteries. Less weight involved, as well, which prevents muscle fatigue while holding for extended periods of time.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n Christopher J from\n Great Bargain for DeWalt 18v Tool Owners\n This battery adapter kit is a boon for DeWalt 18v tool owners who have lots of life left in their tools, but are finding it increasingly difficult to find new 18v batteries at a reasonable price. The adapter kit is a bargain as it contains not only the adapter and two 20v batteries, but a charger, as well. I had read reports where some users had experienced difficulty removing the adapter from a tool, but I haven’t found that to be the case. I definitely recommend this adapter kit.\n

I used it on 3” schld.40 today But I’m going to find out, I suspect it should do well! The Adapter Kit- works perfectly!\n
