The previous version had a dedicated on off switch which would cycle through vertical laser, horizontal laser or both lasers together and had a dedicated safety hold switch. This version has only one switch which activates the laser. Both horizontal and vertical lasers are active together always when on.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 2 out of\n 5\n by\n MB from\n Confusing\n first time user here: The manual does not clearly explain how this device operate. Had to look up online to understand that blinking light implies the device was set uneven. It was hard to confirm when the auto level feature was working and if the line was straight. I returned it and manually old school leveled my kitchen cabinets.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 2 out of\n 5\n by\n SmokyDetroit from\n Locks out of level\n Laser level worked well initially, but now it won't stay in a floating mode. It will auto lock out of level unless you hold the slide bar to keep it floating. 2 years old, is there still a warranty on this? Would expect it to last more than 2 years, its certainly not a cheap brand\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n willi from\n Works well\n I purchased this product specifically to mark vertical lines on a wall in preparation to paint vertical strips. The self-levelling feature makes this an easy job, and the opportunity to mount the unit to a tripod or use the included mounting device is great. Note: despite the product statement the unit comes with a belt pouch, it does not.\n

This is completely by eye as the unit has zero adjustments. It's essentially a plum-bob with a laser\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 2 out of\n 5\n by\n Davi from\n Vertical beam is twice as long as the horizontal\n I am disappointed that the laser is much taller than it is wide. If it were as shown in the pictures, the same width and height, it would be perfect (providing it was the same as the current vertical beam length) but as is, it has a very limited horizontal width and it makes it very difficult to use. \r\n24" from a surface, the horizontal beam is only 36" wide, the vertical beam is 92" tall. From the photos, it looks like it should be the same height and width.\n
