It takes all the work out of cooking for a crowd, from breakfast of bacon, eggs, hotcakes. Show off your BBQ chef skills for supper. Its versatile, easy to assemble, and going in minutes. Got rid of my old BBQ and only use this Camp Chef at home, on holidays, or helping at a charity event.\n

Swapped the line for a longer hose with a quick-connect fitting.\n

I have only used it with the pizza oven accessory so far, but it has most definitely exceeded my expectations. Wind protection around 3 sides and the bottom are a major plus. It will maintain high temps. Don't buy a knock-off, get this one. It's the real deal.\n

I do have plenty of experience cooking outdoors over charcoal and indoors cooking on a natural gas stove.\r\n\r\nThe Expedition 3X was easy to set up: open box, pull out pieces, remove packaging, insert legs, tighten set screws for legs, flip stove upright, slip on windscreen, screw hose to propane tank (not included - about $50), and it's ready to go. The burners can be blown out by strong wind gusts so consider that when picking a spot to cook.\r\n\r\nThe griddle is a nice piece of hardware. It's a big steel plate with a grease trough at the front and raised edges on the other three sides to keep food from falling off. There are two diffuser discs welded onto the bottom to help it heat evenly. It's pre-seasoned but I wiped, re-oiled and heated mine before use just in case.\n
