\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n StrictlyJdN from\n Handy Helper!!\n [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve own many Stanley tools over time, but the one I hold with me everyday is the 6ft FATMAX Keychain. When I needed to make small quick measurements, I always had the Fatmax in hand! After all this time, the measuring tape still retracts and the casing is still intact. Ive only had 2 issues with this measuring tape ever and 1 of them is entirely my fault. The 1st issues is that the “keychain” links are a bit weak. If it were to snag on something a couple of times, it will unlink and you might end up losing it without noticing. I fixed this problem by welding the end links together. The 2nd issues I had is that since I had this measuring tape for a while, it gets dirty. I tried to clean the measuring tape and accidentally wiped away some of the measurement indicators. Overall great tool to have and I’ll be picking up another one soon\n

It's exactly what I needed as I find myself always needing a tape measure when I'm out shopping or happen to see a treasure in the trash. I have used it on several occasions already and haven't had it that long. So glad I purchased this and recommend it to everyone.\n

It's solidly constr...\n This is a great tape measure to use for small, simple jobs around the house. \r\n\r\nIt's solidly constructed and functions just like it's bigger brothers. The black that surrounds the body has a rubber feel that provides good grip. The tape itself is metal and can extend a little over 3 feet before it "snaps". Only inches and feet are labeled but the marks in between are clear, distinct, and easy to count. \r\nThe hook is non-magnetic and has the play like a full-size tape measure. (The hook on the tape measure I bought was black, not chrome looking like the image, for those that care.) I don't have much use for the key chain attached, other that twirling it around on my finger between measures. That being said, I wish this tape had the clasp on the back so I could clip it onto the outside of my pocket, since it might be just big enough to be annoying in your pocket. \r\nThe button to lock the tape slides and clicks smoothly, and when released the tape reels up with a good amount of force.\r\nAll told, I'm very happy with this little guy and have made a couple friends jealous. You would be wise to buy it from Home Depot since most other places I saw sold it for twice as much.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n Sparkie2yrApprentice from\n Everyday-Carry Essential\n [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this little tape measure for almost a year now I keep it ad part of my everyday carry. For before during and after work. I use it for blueprints when i have to layout boxes and especially when im nowhere near my tools or my fatmax 25 footer. The only reason it is not 5 stars is because it needs to have a magnetic tip for working with conduit and metal studs and a stronger chain. I must have broken that almost 20 times everytime it catches on anything even my toolbelt. It definetly wouldnt hurt to have a scale on the back for when using measuring items on blueprints.\n
