Should have bought it instead of the Black and Decker that didn't last even 2 years with batteries that cost over $ 100\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n Dragonfly from\n No complaints\n It is amazing the number of things I can do with this hedge trimmer. I have cut down tall plants in an overgrown garden, shaped some other plants that were looking shaggy at summer's end and of course trimmed a hedge or two.\r\nIt is versatile, light enough for this 75 year old woman, and I love that I get to use the same battery for the hedge trimmer and my Ryobi grass trimmer.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n Anonymous from\n ok trimmer\n Not as gutsy as my previous corded B&D hedge trimmer, but it did the job. I only have about12 feet of hedge, much of which was small branches. The battery lasted about 9 feet and I had to feed it a new battery to get the job done. I'd say that if you have a small bit of hedge or other stuff that needs trimming, this would be ok and the convenience of cordless is great.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n JLousey from\n Hedges slayed\n This thing is a monster! Had a hedge from hell that had not been cared for for years... this thing easily sliced up, down and across with minimum effort! Used two regular 4ah batteries and completed the cut. The rotating head and the D handle makes for great control. Use a machine oil each time to keep the sheers smooth and clean it off with a brush after. .\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 3 out of\n 5\n by\n Anonymous from\n Ryobi Hedge Trimmer\n It worked. Not professional grade for sure. It says it has a 3/4 opening but can't cut 3/4 branches. The sharp edges of the teeth were a bit damaged after the first use. I doubt they hardened the metal. I haven't tried sharpening it as they suggest but I bet that will be a challenge. It will probably be fine for my use as I will probably only use it once a year.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n Tyler from\n Amazing Value\n I have all Makita products, but couldn’t find a Makita model on short notice. Since there was a free battery deal, I picked this model up to try. For just over 100$, I was pleasantly surprised. It cuts quite thick branches with ease, seems to have good runtime, and feels robust. The only downloads is what it can be slightly heavy when working above your head.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n Anonymous from\n Happy Husband\n This works great! Husband has been cutting everything in sight. Now if it could have a detachable bag or tray to catch the mess up afterwards, that would be great because apparently husband doesn’t care about the mess that turns brown, left all over the place. But yes, very awesome piece of equipment, he has started collecting other RYOBI stuff!\n

This model is EXCELLENT....have used it several times on numerous bushes and have to admit, the positive ratings bares the truth...The guard, blade protector and debris bar are all top notch ....Highly recommended..\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 2 out of\n 5\n by\n Tool Guy from\n Can I buy just one tool?\n I am very frustrated with Ryobi tool pricing. The only way to buy a tool is if it is in packaged bundle. To get a battery for a new trimmer, it was cheaper to buy a small drill with a battery than just the same battery. I end up with an extra tool. Hundreds of tool, but few of them are in bundled packages…….\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n William from\n Great Trimmer\n I purchased this trimmer to replace my old electric trimmer and 100 ft cord. It is now a pleasure to trim my hedge and the many bushes i have on my property. Like all my Ryobi tools, works great. Home Depot is about 100 miles away, so appreciate online shopping. Great service and fast and free shipping.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n Fernanda from\n Great trimmer, easy to use.\n This trimmer is easy to use and works great pruning bushes, hedges and trees. Saved me tons of time, as I used to do all the trimming with plant shears. \r\nAlso, I am 5’3” and had no problem handling the machine, it is not too heavy. The fact you can change the angle of the shear makes the job much easier.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 1 out of\n 5\n by\n Ronald from\n not very powerful\n It's not a very powerful tool. It struggled to get through some sections of my hedge with larger branches. If you don't have a lot of hedges, or a lot of mature bushes then it might do the trick, but otherwise I would not recommend this tool if you have a pretty decent sized hedge.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n Timothy from\n Outstanding!\n Unbelievable performance for a cordless tool. And so easy to use, which results in a neater job. The rotation of the handle seemed like a gimmick but after using it, it's brilliant, allowing different tool orientations. The cutting sweeper is also very well thought out.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n TonyFromNS from\n Easy to use. Light weight and yet powerful.\n Decent product and well made. Worked perfectly out of the box and was rugged enough to cut through some fairly large branches which surprised me. Being able to use the One+ batteries is a real bonus as we have several other tools using this battery.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n Oct8 from\n Ryobi 22” cordless hedge trimmer\n Purchased late summer 2018. With the on slot of fall we have put it to good use. \r\nTo date 17 oct’18 I have no issues to report. It’s performance is what I expected. I keep battery pack constantly charged. Should it run out I have a back up.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n Charles from\n Works wonders\n 4 stars because I’ve never had or operated a hedge trimmer before. Nothing to compare it too. I have a 60’ hedge to trim and this little machine works wonders. The handle turns so it’s great for the wrist and arms well worth the price.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n Reed Conrad from\n hedge trimmer\n Very high quality vs CTC cheap stuff...but would have bought initially at store but no one carried the unit without the battery. That is greatest positive...use same battery for all units and reason for selection of brand.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n Home Warrior from\n Great for light duty\n Works well. Of course, there’s no substitute for a gas tool when you have anything more than a small job to do. I have about 220 feet of cedar hedges at home and found I was swapping batteries often while trimming them.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n John from\n Ryobi 18V cordless hedge trimmer\n Only used on small shrub trimming jobs. Found easy to handle, nice weight and balance and trims cleanly when used to cut back new growth. Only average when trimming older (more tha 1 year old) growth on woody shrubs.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n George from\n Good trimmer...great value\n It works great. As well, I have 3 Li-Ion batteries on hand, which I purchased for my Ryobi cordless drill and my impact driver years ago, so I didn't need to purchase a battery for this trimmer. That's a huge plus.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n SSIDave from\n Good addition to my Ryobi Toolset\n This hedge trimmer works well and was lightweight and easy to use.\r\nHowever I would suggest the 4Ah battery with it as the smaller ones run out of juice quickly. Overall very happy with purchase (of tool only)\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n Budd from\n Ryobi one hedge trimmer\n Don’t let the cordless name fool you. This thing has lots of power for small hedges and trees. I used it to trim lavender hedges and ornamental willows and maples. For a small household it’s all you need\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n GWM22 from\n Good trimmer\n Nice working trimmer. Longer blade than our old corded trimmer and you can turn the handle to adjust for different cutting angles. Fairly light weight if you use a 1.5 or 2 amp-hour battery\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n Jennifer from\n Easy to use\n Simple, easy to use, lightweight. Bigger than I'd expected (I ordered online) but that turned out to be a good thing since it meant more hedge surface could be cleared each pass.\n
