I used it the first day out of the box and it worked quickly. As soon as the clog was out, I turn on the tap and rinse it off as it reeled back in to the casing.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 3 out of\n 5\n by\n randomname123 from\n Manual is terrible\n Just bought used this. Had to figure it out myself, The manual has no illustrations, but refers to them. I ended up extending it too far right away, now I can't retract the cable. If you're an experienced user, it works fine. I did get the clog out. Hope I can repair it - A guy on the internet says you have to reset the ball inside the drum - whatever that means.\n

This auger was long enough go all the way through to the outside clearing grease and funk on the way. \r\n\r\nI used the AC option which worked quick and easy. I haven’t used the battery option yet. I would definitely use a more powerful battery.\n

The flexible cable kinked upon hitting the initial obstruction in the water line. I eventually had to purchase a hand operated drain snake to accomplish the task. The Ryobi Hybrid Drain tool is an underperforming tool and I would not recommend purchasing it. If not for the label on the packaging that states 'can not return if opened or used', I would have promptly returned the tool.\n

You can insert the feed cable and retract it faster with your bare hands. The white collar in front to lock in different modes gets stuck once you pull it out.
