\n

\n \n \n

\n \n\n \n Thank you for asking. We don't offer a conversion kit, but we can sell the individual components of the grill that need to be changed to convert the grill from propane to natural gas. However, please note that we do not recommend this action be taken. Our grills are CSA certified to operate the way they were made and not modified. If you wish to convert the grill, it should be done by a licensed gas fitter. Please note that by altering the grill from its original design voids the warranty in relation to any failures or operating difficulties due to alteration. \n \n ## \n What size gas line extention should I buy to extend my gas line..\n

\n

\n \n \n

\n \n\n \n Standard hose lengths are between 10 -12 ft.\n

\n \n Date published: 2022-04-13

\n \n ## \n What size is the hose connection 1/2 or 3/8\n

\n

\n \n \n

\n \n\n \n Thank you for your question. Our durable 10 foot long natural gas hoses are a standardized 3/8 inch with a female and male disconnect. This is a standard hose that has been CSA-certified for safe and efficient gas flow at a 7-inch water column pressure. If you have any further questions please call us at 1-800-265-2150 or email at info@omcbbq.com.\n

\n \n ## \n My condo has a natural gas line installed by the builder of the highrise. Turned bbq to high and it became very hot quickly. Temp gauge went past the max and the handle was hot. Do I need a pressure regulator? The gas pressure sounded high\n

\n

\n \n \n

\n \n\n \n Why not just turn it to a lower temp?
Mine gets hot quickly too, but just turn it down.\n

\n \n ## \n Follow up to the previous question - this is coming up in the "Natural Gas BBQs" section of Home Depot's site - so this is NOT a natural gas BBQ?\n

\n

\n\n \n

\n \n\n \n Thank you for asking. The 1164-57S/54S Broil Mate Pedestal 40K BTU barbecue is available in both natural gas and propane models. For more information please call us at 1-800-265-2150 or email us at info@omcbbq.com\n

Usually I don’t have any issues. \r\nThis makes me think twice about ordering something online from Home Depot. I paid EXTRA for 1 day delivery. I received it 1 WEEK later. What a JOKE! Couldn’t get through on the phone. I went to the store, to find out what the problem was. Everyone was CLUELESS! Blaming everyone else. Sorry, it will be delivered next day. Guess what, never showed up. \r\nCalled complained, finally showed up.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n Jay I from\n Natural gas bbq review\n Excellent natural gas bbq for the price point. Works great, heats quickly and maintains heat. \r\nInstructions a little vague, just take your time. Seems very solid. No front doors which does not bother me. I like storing accessories separately anyhow. Big bonus that its Canadian made. Very happy still after a dozen or so dinners.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 1 out of\n 5\n by\n Matt from\n Get what you pay for\n I really regret purchasing this BBQ. I previously owned a Broil Mate and went back for a newer model. Big mistake. It takes forever to hear up and everything takes way too long to cook. I should have paid more money to get a better brand. I think this Broil Mate is overpriced and not worth it.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n Birry from\n Works, but VERY hot!\n Gets really really hot but it works like a charm. Takes some getting used to. If you put the gas valve and the burners to max, it takes 7 minutes to go over 700 degrees F. \r\n\r\nWhat works for me is only turning the gas valve to about 1/4 open, then burners can be fine tuned easier\n
