Overall, not too sturdy construction but for the price, still glad we have it. We've just had to use a cable to keep the umbrella steady. Would get a better one next time that will last longer.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 1 out of\n 5\n by\n shamrock1984 from\n Terrible\n I bought this last year and only opened/close it a few times. The internal cord already broke making it completely useless. Home Depot won't take it back as it conveniently is passed their 6 month return timeframe. I contacted the vendor who told me tough luck they won't provide any assistance.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n Keltie from\n Get what you pay - don’t have high expectations.\n It’s a beautiful colour. Easily assembled and easy to open. I did need a sand bag to keep it stable when open. 4 stars because i expected that based on the price and base of the umbrella. If you’re looking for something that stands solid on its own - don’t purchase and expect to pay more.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n Not again from\n Nice product - Bad Service.\n Umbrella is wonderful, but the process in ordering it wasn't. Bad communication and multiple charges on my bank card that were refunded. This product ships from a Home Depot supplier, not Home Depot themselves, so you can not contact the shipper for details on delays and charges etc.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n yayasisterhood from\n good value for the money\n The umbrella is pretty good value for the money. The only issue is it doesn't come with a suitable base to keep it anchored down. I had to buy some cheap brackets so i could screw it into my wood deck to keep it in place. If you have an umbrella stand it would be good to go.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 5 out of\n 5\n by\n Jenn from\n Great purchase\n We’ve had the umbrella for 3 months and have enjoyed it tremendously. I love that the yellow colour casts a golden light for everything underneath it. We screwed the base into our deck, so no need for the base weights (which as you might have read, don’t fit).\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n Rich from\n As expected\n Pretty good for the price but impossible to stop it from swinging from side to side in the wind, no matter how much it is tightened. But it wasn’t a lot of money and wasn’t expecting too much. Overall does a great job if it isn’t too windy.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 3 out of\n 5\n by\n Customer from\n Good on days with no wind\n It's a nice large umbrella that works well when it's not windy. The umbrella has flipped around and swung sideways on several occasions in low wind. The umbrella can be made more sturdy and the lifting mechanisms could be much smoother.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 2 out of\n 5\n by\n Jess from\n Constantly repositioning\n Love the colour and easy to put up and take down. But it swings a LOT with the wind and moves the angle. As tight as we position it, it always moves with ANY gust of wind so it's not covering our patio furniture.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 3 out of\n 5\n by\n Ally from\n It was great but didn't last\n I loved this umbrella and it's a great size, unfortunately we didn't get to use it too much last year and the second time we had it open this year the cord inside snapped and now it won't open\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 1 out of\n 5\n by\n ScottE from\n Don't waste your money...\n In the 2nd year of use a couple plastic pieces broke at the start of the season but we could still use manually. Then near the end of the season cord broke. Now can't use at all.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n Kearyn from\n Amazing for the price\n A little flimsy in terms of material and functioning, but you really cannot get a better umbrella (or one this large) for a better price. Does the job, and looks really good too!\n
