\n \n \n \n Rated 1 out of\n 5\n by\n InvisiTech from\n Spend the extra and get a better mower.\n I picked up this mower since the price and features were attractive, and the self propelled feature would be good on our lot with slopes. It was advertised as a special purchase by the Home Depot. I have always been satisfied with the quality of the tools I have purchased there. Until now. \r\n\r\nAfter the 3rd use, the self propelled belt slipped off, I spent quite a while getting it back on, and it immediately came off the pulleys after a couple of minutes. Without the self propelled feature, this is one heavy lawnmower to push... resulting in the handlebar bolts pulling out of the plastic casing from me having to push the mower up the hill. The rear piece of this mower is soft plastic, and as such, not durable.\r\n\r\nI called Home Depot to return this, and was told that I had to connect directly with the manufacturer see if they could fix this before they would consider a return.\r\n\r\nCounting the cost of the time I have had to spend on the issues, I should have bought a better quality unit.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 4 out of\n 5\n by\n Abu Alam from\n Good for the price\n Powerful motor, easy to start. Couple of minor issues. Self propel motor can be a little fast on flat surface to keep up, only good for uphill. Bag seems to fall off from time to time as grass gets between it and the machine.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 2 out of\n 5\n by\n Rosetown Locksmith from\n 22-inch 170CC 3-in-1 Self-Propelled Lawn Mower\n It does cut very well and i like the height adjuster,, however, it started using oil almost immediately, it is very heavy to load and extremely noisy, you need ear protection for sure, it needs a quieter muffler. I would have returned the first week,, except that I accidently drove over the grass catcher bag,, oops !! Then I owned it for sure, I have never used it since, I use my 15 year old one, it still runs and is quieter.. ....\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 1 out of\n 5\n by\n Livia from\n Very dissatisfied with lawnmower and Home Depot.\n Terrible lawn mower. Bought it in late May didn't get delivered for 3 weeks. Stalled halfway thru my first try. Figured I'd give it a chance and used it again in early July. July was very dry so didn't mow again until 1st of August and it wouldn't even start! Went to home Depot August 9 and they wouldn't let me return it and gave me the companies telephone number where I left various messages and no on has called me back. DO NOT BUY THIS LAWNMOWER!!\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 3 out of\n 5\n by\n Recent Purchaser from\n Inexpensive\n The grass bag is a bit small and does not stay secured to mower while in use. As soon as it gets half full, the weight of the grass causes it to detach from mower. I suggest using the mulching attachment instead. The engine also overheats and won't restart immediately if you have to stop mowing temporarily. It is too my understanding that this is a simple adjustment, but of course I don't know how to do myself and have to pay to fix. Lastly, have to top up gas frequently. I am not sure if the tank is just small of if it burns gas faster. Other then that, its an inexpensive, self propelled lawnmower that works if you are on a budget.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 3 out of\n 5\n by\n Lou D from\n Does what a Lawnmower is supposed to do.\n This lawn mower is pretty good, with a few caveats. I have some new mobility challenges and I found it getting harder to push our previous push mower up the inclines in our front yard so I wanted a self propelled one. The mower's price was right and it was delivered quickly. When I met the delivery person at the curb and he saw my leg braces he carried it all the way to my backyard for me, which was appreciated!\n\nThe mower can be tough to start, there is no priming bulb or decompression lever. I don't have the stamina to mow our whole yard in one swoop and need to rest at the mid point and I find it even harder to start when it is hot, which is counterintuitive.\n\nAlso the drive speed is preset, or optimized as the manual says, and cannot be modified. I find it a little too fast for me, especially on gentler slopes. I end up holding it back more than letting it pull me forward. The drive engagement is smooth and instantaneous as is the disengagement. \n\nWe mulch so I do not know how well the bagger works. I find the fuel consumption to be higher than our previous mower, but then the motor is driving more components too. It was about 2/3rds the price of other brand names so I accept a few deficiencies. Sold my 10 year old one for half the price of this one so it was a win all around.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 2 out of\n 5\n by\n Strong from\n It cuts grass but....\n I mean, it cuts grass which serves it's primary focus. I have an issue with how the side grass thrower stays in, rather doesn't stay in causing me to stop and reset it multiple times per cut. Or the fact that the height adjuster sometimes slides to the lowest setting causing my grass to look like a toddler with sissors mowed my grass. But yes it cuts grass.\n

\n \n \n \n Rated 1 out of\n 5\n by\n Jonathon from\n Powerdumb\n OK, I bought one about two weeks ago. Here is my unbias report. Complete junk. The engine is a Honda clone. Extremely underpowered. Stops multiple times in wet grass. It doesn't have the so called torque it says it does. The plastic side discharge is that cheap plastic. Broke off after a couple of runs. Crap!!! Also the belt on the transmission for self propelled slips of all the time. Extremely disappointed in the craftsmanship in the this do called top tier machine. This lawnmower should be avoided at all cost. It's just pure disappointment everytime you use it. Junk, Junk, Junk. I can't say that word enough.\n
