\n \n Does this jig work with the Bosch MRP20EVS router templates and/or do the templates supplied with this jig work with the Bosch router?\n

\n \n\n \n I have a Bosch router which came with bushings, but I had to buy the Bosch bushing adapter in order to accommodate the bushing supplied with the dovetail Jig, which is sort of a standard size. You can buy an different universal sub-base (Rockler sells one) that will fit the Bosch router and accommodate the PC bushing. Good idea to align the bushing (there are jigs for this) to make sure it is centered.\n

\n \n ## \n Do I need to purchase separate guides if I am using a DeWalt model DWP611PK router with this jig?\n

\n

\n \n \n

\n \n\n \n If you have the plunge base it should fit the standard "porter cable style" guides. You may have an issue using the bits that come with the unit as they are 1/2in collet verses 1/4 inch collet used by your router. So to use the jib you will need to get 1/4in bits of the same size. Note that for this type of work a 1/2 bit is desired for use as they provide for a more accurate cut.\n

\n \n What is the difference between a doweling jig type and a drill? I'm looking at the 4212 vs 4210\n

\n \n\n \n The 4212 will offers a variety of cuts beyond what the 4210 can offer. For example:4210 Dovetail Jig - half-blind, half-blind with a lipped front, and sliding dovetails.
4212 Deluxe Dovetail Jig - through dovetail, box joint, half-blind, half-blind with a lipped front, and sliding dovetails.\n
