Rated 5 out of 5 by from Home use good enough Good little kit for a non-commercial user. Gets the job done and is straight forward to use. Fairly inexpensive for what you get (I got mine + an extra M18 battery on sale for $199). I'm mostly using it around the house for personal projects, woodworking, etc. have had it for three months now without problem, it does come with a limited time manufacturers warranty though. Would not recommend for someone whose working daily with it on jobsites, they should probably get the other slightly more expensive brushless that gets less internal wear and tare over extensive use. The non-brushless here is good enough for what I think would be most people. The canvas bag is flexible material and not ridgid.

In the first kit one the 2.0 and one of the 1.5 Amphr batteries would not charge, flashed red/green right from the start. The store exchanged for another yesterday, last night put one battery in to charge and this morning still not fully charged. Put the second battery in the charger and flashed red/green right from the start. Two lemons in a row! This is my first attempt at Milwaukee tools, not a good first impression. Also, only one drill comes with a belt clip. Now that's being cheap!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great kit Bought this kit to replace my aging 18V DeWalt drill. Very happy with it. Batteries are compatible with my newly bought Milwaukee cordless circular saw. Just make sure you really tighten down the chuck on the drill to prevent drill bits from coming out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I was blown away Wasn't expecting them to be so powerful and well made for what I paid on sale. ( $199 for 2 piece + 2 battery + charger + bag ) You can buy entry level pieces from other manufacturers that are the same price but they don't offer the same torque, battery life, and quality that these have. I know, I returned 2 other drills before getting lucky with these.

I haven't used the impact driver much, but the drill/driver had lots of torque to drive screws into framing, and the included batteries lasted reasonably. The tool is compact and lightweight, compared to my older Ridgid driver, and was less fatiguing to use and more maneuverable in awkward spaces. Upgrade batteries are available with longer run times, but I found the included ones charged faster than I could discharge them. I like the feature that shows how much battery life remains.

This drill and driver combo works great and makes it a lot easier to use when you can use the two items separately without having to change bits all of the time. The 18V batteries provide plenty of power and torque. hope to be able to use it for many years to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing power for the price It's built tough as expected from Milwaukee. I drilled anchor holes into a 8" concrete wall no problem. It isn't as light as my DeWalt 20V, but I would it was just as capable to finish the job. For the price, this will last you a very long time.

Can you drill into concrete with the hammer drill?

Yes you can but it isn't as powerful as the high torque ones that have a handle

Drill keeps stopping intermittently with a full battery even. I'm a mechanic and sometimes have to drill through steel and aluminum. Is it that the 1.5 amp battery not supplying enough juice while doing a heavy load.

Hi Tyler, Thanks for the question. All Milwaukee cordless tools have an overload protection circuit in them. If the tool is over torqued, or overheated it will shut itself down to protect itself. Milwaukee has varying degrees of protection depending on the tool. The 1.5 amp hr battery is our smallest "gas tank" or supplies the least run time per application. However, if you install and High Output 6, 8 or 12 amp hour battery you will enjoy far more run time during your drilling application especially in metals as well as a power lift for the tool itself.

Batteries are hard to charge, unlike before with my older version of M18, shouldn't it be just drop the battery in and it charges automatically?, we just don't have to to fix or play with the charger to make it charge while we are busy with the renovation
