Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great looking shed. Need 2 people, 1 over 6ft We read hundreds of reviews, watched a dozen videos and still bought this shed. Delivered on time, 2 huge boxes on pallets. We build our shed on a foundation of paving stones. Build was easy except 1 window on the front door just refused to fit. The pre-drilled holes on the plastic window did not line up with the spots on the resin frame. 2 hours wasted, we will have to seal with caulking. Besides that, everything came in the boxes. Instructions were clear. Every step had its own little baggy of hardware. Definitely need 2 people, 3 would have been best. Followed the steps in the instruction, easy peasy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed Purchased an 8x10 Shed online and booked time off with a friend to help me assemble. Unpacked the parts which seemed to all be there only to discover 3/4 the way through the build that I was missing a Roof section. Had an extra end piece that did not fit. A shed is not much this without a Roof ! Called the service number and if course the missing piece is not readily available and had to be Ordered. It has been several weeks now and my frustration is growing with each passing Day. Needs to be some compensation for time loss and aggregation. Thanks

Rated 4 out of 5 by from the shed Well, HD found the shed for us and we bought it.Went about building a base for it as per Suncast's instructions. When we opened the boxes, the headers and right door were damaged. HD told us to contact Suncast and we did, they sent out the parts the same day. 5 days later they arrived and the door was damaged.Understandably, they asked for pic's which we sent, a new door was on it,s way.The shed is up and impressive, but doubly so because of the stellar service from Suncast. Now, I find the front of the shed to be shaky so I'm going to make "plates" out of plywood. They will tie the header to the small front panel on each side of the doors.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Tremont 8 ft. x 10 ft. Double-Wall Resin Shed The shed is okay, looks like that is strong. Need to see steel over our Winter seasons. Some the issue that I found while I was put the shed together are: 1- Hardware, on the book is labelled by double letters (JJ, KK PP), but on the bags are labelled by numbers. Very confusing. If are same size should be altogether in one bag labelled by only letters or whatever you have on the instruction book. 2- The skylight window on the roof, very hard to put together.the holes were not matching with the little window holes and they were not pierced. 3- Door hinges should be adjustable. 4- Shed walls should indicate the continuation of going in a one direction. Quality insights are 2-3 sentences long.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed due to missing parts Overall it is an attractive shed, and will serve it's purpose. I chose to have a concrete base installed for the base. Disappointed that the instuctions did not yield any details on securing the floor to a concrete base, other than "consult your local hardware specialist..." So I did the best I could given my knowledge and experience level.. I hope it withstands the test of time. Also, I had time from receiving the product until I actually assembled it, but limited space to fully unpack and spot check the parts inventory, so I did a little at a time. Which led to 2 different phone calls to the company to obtrain missing hardware pack (5 missing packs in total), which I usually received in 7-9 days. OK there as at that point I had not begun assembly. Then came time for actual assemble... more missing hardware... So, I was able to improvise most of it, with the exception of the very last peice (door handles), I did not have anything to imnprovide those specific machined screws to attache the assembly.. So my shed will sit wiyhouy handles for a week or so while I wait for those to be shipped... Assembly itself... We secured the floor to the concrete pad on day 1, this was because I had trouble the the securing part, which added a trip to the hardware store, and 2 hours later, I returned and the floor pieced which were layoued out on the concrete had started to curl... so we dropped some lanscaping bricks on them and let them sit overnight... Day 2, the rest of the shed... very tedious, a lot of screws to put... and as you get to the last peices of the roof, things did not align correctly, so we had to insert screws into places where there was no screw holes.. not hard to do, but with so many parts, I think it is close to impossible to get to the end and not have things perfectly aligned... In all, after the floor was secured it took wife and I about 5-6 hours to assembly it (not including another 2 hour hardware store trip to try and find something that I could improvise another missing hardware peice with) So lesson here.... Thoroughly go through the parts before you begin... you needs alots of space and patience to do this... and be prepared to del;ay a week or so for missing parts...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don’t buy The product appeared really good and it was delivered to my home. After about 5 hours into assembly I discovered two side panels were incorrect...I contacted the manufacturers on Dec 23 and still have not received the replacement. The first order was not sent and then I contacted them 3 weeks later as I was told I receive the panels within 2 weeks...after 30 minutes on hold they told me they would have to send it again so three weeks later I’m still waiting...don’t order the product as it’s likely missing peices...read other reviews...i was told by Home Depot to return it but half of the shed was already up and boxes destroyed by rain and snow...first reason why I bought shed was to clear out my garage to park vehicles inside for winter...useless!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Home Depot product I ordered and received my suncast shed with no problems. Customer service was fantastic and the delivery was fast and friendly. My shed assembly was simple and did not take long, needless to say I’m a experienced carpenter so that helped. I love this shed it looks great and functions very well and best of all very low maintenance. I recommend this product to anyone if you’re just looking for a little extra storage.

I live in Ontario Canada. Is this shed strong enough to withstand the weather here? We get quite a bit of snow.

Asked by: calper
Yes. Suncast sheds are manufactured to withstand weather conditions such as wind and snow. Suncast sheds can withstand wind tunnel conditions and perform at 65 – 70 mph winds. As for snow load we recommend keeping the roof clear on snow as much as possible. The roof will withstand up to 20 lbs per sq feet of snow. The use of a roof rake is recommended.

Does this shed come with a floor kit ?

Asked by: Sachin
Yes it does. It's quite rigid, but unless you're putting on a nice flat concrete or gravel pad, then I strongly suggest you build and level, a small wooden deck to stand it on.

Does this shed need to be anchored into the floor? We have a flat surface in the yard, but it’s made of stone. Wondering if I need to drill down the stone or just put the shed o top?

Asked by: Samantha
You can just drop it on top Assuming you can fill it with enough weight it should be fine I ancored my floor to a cement pad because where i live, it's wide open and can get very windy, hence i did not want any risks I also framed the interior with 2x4s

Has anyone used patio stones instead of pour concrete? The current shed has a patio stones (with gravel underneath) as the foundation - hoping I can use that instead.

Asked by: newshed
I used patio stones… you just have to make sure the stones are incredibly level because the product has multiple pieces that align to form the walls so if they aren’t level it wont line up and pop out
