Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great transformed this to work with Propane This worked great. Transformed this to work with a propane gas tank. Bought a firepit ring and long hoses with a regulator. My family and friends love it. I had a tall propane heater not being used. I took the cap off and flipped it over to use as a heat shield. You can now feel the heat a whole lot better. I also flip it over to use as a cover so nothing gets messed up. The fire ring itself I used wire mesh to sit flush on top and used the Glass for a nice look.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Little Fire Pit Now that warmer/drier weather is here we’ve used this about ten times. It looks great in our backyard, works very well and provides for nice family time around the fire. My only issue with it is that if you have a bigger fire with cover on the metal mesh on the cover warps out of its whole dome shape. In their defense they’re might be warnings about this in the instructions pamphlet that came with it but I didn’t really read it closely. Even with warping it still looks very nice!

It's a shames, as I love all my other SunJoe products - tiller, leaf mulcher, poser washer... I'm guessing I got a defective fire pit. Have submitted a claim to Sun Joe

Round Cast Stone Wood Burning Fire Pit does have a drain hole, but we do recommend covering the unit up to prevent weather exposer when its not being used. What is the inside diameter measurement of the fire pit?  Where the bowl is . Do have any fire pits with a 30 inch inside diameter ?

Inside is 36 OD less 4.5 walls so 27 ID. My fire fractured on the lot -tought was winter but the replaced under warranty and the second one has started to break off pieces. I made a plywood cover for the winter.

I guess you could if you had rocks on the bottom or some other material that isn't flammable, but I would suggest using the bowl.
