Stiebel Eltron's surface-mount CK Trend heater is made in Germany. Perfect in any location, this quiet fan heater quickly warms an area or maintains a comfortable temperature. Perfect for both retrofit and new construction, the downdraft design heats a space evenly. A CK Trend can easily replace an older flush-mount heater, and is ideal for bathrooms, basements, offices, playrooms, 3-season porches, cabins, campers or RVs, and mobile homes. The adjustable thermostat to control temperature is located on the top of the CK Trend. The CK Trend's frost protection setting will maintain above freezing temperatures in an appropriately sized space. The strong external casing is plastic, and the entire heater is designed to have its components recycled at the end of its useful life. Rated 1 out of 5 by from not happy replaced a 1500w baseboard heater with this to free up wall space. the 1500 with it built in thermostat performed very well. the wall mount is very hard to regulate. it cycles on and off incessantly for only a few seconds at a time, not really warming the space much. have had to run at max when it is only 4 below and does not keep the area as warm. also even though it is a wall mount it does not have any provision for a surface cable entrance. cable entrance is from the back only. can jury rig a frontside entrance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for Basement Home Office I bought this to heat a 12' x 15' home office in my basement, which was a bit chilly to work in last winter (live in Nova Scotia). Home Depot delivered it quickly, and it didn't take long to hook up (already had it pre-wired with 12/2 wire to a 20-amp breaker). It starts up right away, and puts out plenty of heat for its size. And I also don't find the fan noise to be a problem (can easily talk on the phone). One word of caution ... bring ALL of your screwdrivers, 'cuz you'll need every one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Verry disapointed Once i got the heater i installed it and realized that the on/off swith was not working. Tried to contact the company ( stiebel eltron )with no succes. So i had to order a switch from china, it was not the same but worked fine.

Can this be ceiling mounted, blowing into the room?

Since heat rises, we do not suggest mounting it on the ceiling. If should be mounted about 6 - 8 inches off the flow to be effective.

l'installer dans la salle a mangé/cuisine pour avoir une chaleur sur la porte patio de cette piece (215pi2) est-ce bon. la fiche technique indique 2000w et 1600w max sur la même fiche?. Et pour terminer, est-ce que le ventilateur est variable automatique

The CK200-2 Trend is a 240 Volt unit and is designed to heat about 200 square feet of area. It is fan run and temperature controlled with the thermostat.
